Today ICArEHB is organizing the APPW – Archaeology and Public Policy Workshop event, which features various guests from official entities in the region.
The aim is to reflect on how to build a bridge between archaeologists and policymakers by combining the perspectives of archaeologists from different sectors in Portugal, including research archaeology, commercial archaeology, and institutional archaeology
The institutions present were: ICArEHB, ERA Arqueologia, Engobe, Municipality of Loulé, Municipality of Vila do Bispo, DRC – Direção Regional da Cultura, DGPC – Direção Geral do Património Cultural, Cerro da Vila – Vilamoura, PlanApp, and special guest Professor Tim Kohler from Washington State University.
