Research Interests

My research focuses on reconstructing past human behavior through the study of stone tools in Southeast Africa during the dispersals of our species in the Late Pleistocene.

Short Bio

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from the University of Jordan and a master’s in Culture and Environment in Africa from the University of Cologne, where I researched Nubian Levallois technology. My interests also include replicating stone technologies through knapping to understand past technological decisions made by hominins, along with spatial analysis.
