Research Interests

To study the transitional gap between the disappearance of Neanderthals an Modern humans in Iberia through a micromorphological approach, trying to understand what kind of processes could have been related to this key issue in our evolutionary history.

Short Bio

After completing my master’s degree in Quaternary Archaeology and Human Evolution, I decided to pursue geoarchaeological studies as a general framework for the study of human evolution. This led me to work as a laboratory technician at IPHES where I learned the principles of soil micromorphology as it is a valuable tool for understanding and contextualizing archaeological contexts. My PhD focuses on the use of micromorpholgy techniques for Middle-to-Upper Paleolithic transition sites in Iberia.
