Short Bio

I graduated in History, then made my Master in Archaeological Theory and Methods beginning my research in osseous industry. I studied several assemblages from portuguese Upper Palaeolithic archaeological sites, located in Estremadura, Alentejo and Algarve provinces. Latter started my Ph.D. following the same research topic, but this time extending the theme to Southern Iberia, analysing and comparing, from a technological and use-wear perspective, four Upper Paleolithic osseous industry assemblages from Lapa do Picareiro (Estremadura) and Vale Boi (Algarve) in Portugal, and El Pirulejo (Córdoba) and Cueva Ambrósio (Almeria) in Spain.
Besides research activities, I have been also working in contract archaeology, in archaeological sites dated from Upper Paleolithic and Holocene to more recent ones.
