Short Bio
I am an Africanist anthropological archaeologist, having received my Ph.D. from Bighamton University (USA). My work has centered on historical archaeology in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly Mozambique and São Tomé e Príncipe. In 2020, I initiated research at the site of Praia Melão (São Tomé), the only recorded archaeological site in the country and the first investigated from an archaeological perspective.
