Research Interests
I have a broad interest across Biological Anthropology, having worked with both living and past groups and acquiring interdisciplinary skills in stable isotopic analyses, geometric morphometrics, dental microwear analyses, and macro-osteological analyses.
Short Bio
I have a BSc in Biology (2011 – University of Lisbon), a MSc in Human Evolution and Biology (2013 – University of Coimbra), and a PhD in Biological Anthropology (2018 – University of Cambridge). I worked as a forensic anthropologist at a human rights group (2018-2020) and as a postdoc in Archaeology at the University of São Paulo (2020-2022). I joined ICArEHB as a Junior Researcher in 2023, where I study breastfeeding and weaning practices in the past.
