Research Interests

One of my interest is using GIS to study underwater paleolandscapes and relationship with coastal archaeology, paleoenvironmental reconstruction and sea level changes by many proxies like remote sensing, including underwater sampling. I am also using GIS and UAV/drones to study historical archaeology sites, coastal and river system in southern Brazil. Other interest area is 3D reconstruction of landscape and archaeological objects, using imaging, CNC and 3D printers.

Short Bio

I have a MsC in Archaelogy (Archaeology and Underwater Heritage in Portugal) and MsC in Geomatics (Prehistoric underwater landscape in southern Portugal), both from University of Algarve (UAlg – Portugal), and graduates in History (BA and BS) from Federal University of Espirito Santo (Brazil). I experience in SCUBA diving and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle-UAV.
