On September 24, MAR Shopping Algarve (Loulé) will host, for the first time, the European Researchers’ Night (NEI), which will take place between 10:00 AM and 10 PM.
ICArEHB will participate in the exhibition among other institutions and researchers from the University of Algarve.
This year’s initiative will feature activities that aim to raise awareness of the dangers of climate change and raise awareness of more sustainable lifestyle alternatives. For this, entities that develop scientific and innovative work in the Algarve will be present, using videos of experiences, informational material and experimental activities, including observation through a 3D microscope, demonstration of the impact of C02 on marine life, or even, and exhibition of archaeological materials to study the human past.
Promoted by the European Commission since 2005, this year’s edition comes within the scope of the REGGAE – Researchers for European Green Growth and Education project, whose theme focuses on the environment and sustainability and which is funded by the European Union through the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program, Marie Sklodowska-Curie.
