Short Bio

I completed my Ph.D. at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where I am now a researcher and professor of prehistoric archaeology. Since then I have been invovled as team member and as project director in several large-scale multidisciplinar projects in Israel, Ethiopia and Georgia, working on Oldowan, Acheulian and Middle Paleolithic/Middle Stone Age sites. My main publications can be viewed here I have advised more than 20 MA and doctoral students, from whom I have learnt a lot. I still have more questions than answers about the human past.
