Research Interests
My main archaeological research is focused on the Late Prehistory of the Iberian Peninsula and its European, Mediterranean and African contexts. I am interested in the origin and evolution of farming societies. I am also interested in epistemological issues and in archaeological theories, hence my work on the methodological development of evolutionary theory in respect to its application to the study of human behaviour and material culture.
