Research Interests

I am an archaeologist interested in mobility and settlement patterns during Middle–Upper Paleolithic transition, in Iberia Region, and how these relates to processes of climate and environmental change.  I am also interested in computer applications in archaeological practice, such as the Geographic Information System (GIS), that allow spatial analysis and paleoenvironment Characterization.

Short Bio

I completed my Master in 2018 at the University of Algarve. I also worked in commercial archaeology, in the Algarve region. I joined ICARHEB in 2019, and since then I have been collaborated on various projects (e.g. fieldwork in Companheira Cave) and laboratory work (e.g. digital data processing). Currently, I carrying out an archaeological map chart of the western Algarve, in partnership with the Centro de Ciência Viva deLagos, while undertaking a PhD about Mobility and Settlement Patterns in Southern Iberia, during Middle and Upper Paleolithic.
