Short Bio

I am a PhD student developing research on diet, health and mobility in Portuguese Neolithic / Chalcolithic populations. I finished the master's degree in Human Evolution and Biology, Coimbra University in 2015 and since then I have developed several works as an independent researcher and through research grants. My work has been focused on the study of populations rom the past, with samples from different chronological periods, contexts and funerary rituals. My repertoire includes works related to paleobiology, paleopathology, analysis of stable isotopes and breastfeeding and weaning patterns in past populations.
