Short Bio
Anastasia Eleftheriadou is a PhD student at the University of Algarve and holds a PhD Grant (UIDP/04211/2020), funded by FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia), acquired through the ICArEHB Centre. She had her BA in History and Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), where she also continued her MA in Prehistoric Archaeology. She has participated in two Erasmus exchange programs for studies (University College of London- 2019/20 and University of Florence-2018) and one Erasmus program for traineeship (Museum-Institute of Prehistory in Florence “Paolo Graziosi”- 2021) and she has participated in various excavations and surface surveys in Greece, Italy, Turkey and Cyprus.
Currently, she is working on her PhD Project titled: “Geo-archaeoinformatic approaches and multiscale mapping of coastal paleosols and archaeology in eastern South Africa”.
