Call for 4 fellowships for the PhD program in Archaeology at Universidade do Algarve
[/dfd_heading][dfd_spacer screen_wide_resolution=”1280″ screen_wide_spacer_size=”10″ screen_normal_resolution=”1024″ screen_tablet_resolution=”800″ screen_mobile_resolution=”480″][vc_column_text]ICArEHB is now inviting potential candidates for 4 Fellowships in the PhD program in Archaeology of Universidade do Algarve with dissertation topics that should fit to our main research lines:
- African Archaeology and Human Evolution
- Prehistoric Coastal Adaptations
- Development of Complex Societies
- History of Archaeological Science
These fellowships are funded by and identical to those of the Portuguese Science Foundation (Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia) but attributed directly by ICArEHB. Classes will start in September, 2020.

The fellowships include a monthly salary of 1064€ during 48 months, social security, tuition and fees, as well as yearly hotel and travel for congress presentation. The fellows will also have 22 days of vacation yearly.
